It’s the time of year again that I start booking fall family photography sessions, and I’m finding myself in awe and disbelief that I never got around to blogging this one from last year. I mean, it’s only been one of my favorite family sessions EVER. An amazingly styled little cabin, good music, an incredible cheese plate and wine, and above all the BEST company. I don’t know how I could even call this work! Jon and Alison, if you’re reading this…I’m pretty sure bonfire weather is back and I’m so down for making this happen again!

That’s the way the best sessions go though. Sessions like this are the ones where I get the good stuff! I want to hang out for half the afternoon documenting your reality. The bare feet and spontaneous snuggles, the genuine laughter, and all the little moments in between. Those are the things I want to capture for your family. Because life is more than just pretty pictures. It’s about the way you feel when you’re cozy together on the sofa, or sitting by the fireside with sticky marshmallow fingers watching the flames flicker.
