Choosing someone as your wedding and/or elopement photographer is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make for your big day. The most important thing to keep in mind is to find someone who’s work you resonate with and who’s style isn’t going to clash with your own.
My goal when photographing a wedding is to tell YOUR unique story. The documentary and photojournalistic style of my work will focus on genuine emotion and authentic moments. The things that happen organically throughout the day. This approach will ensure that when you look back at your images you will remember all of the beautiful unprompted moments. Just as they naturally unfolded. When a photographer tells you what to do and where to go, or to repeat things you just did, that is what you will end up remembering. My goal is for you to remember the way you FEEL on your wedding day, so I won’t be asking you to pose or to constantly smile at the camera. My aim is to capture the raw emotion of your day in a way that can’t be staged.

Intimate weddings and elopements are my very favorite. If you’re doing something unique and out of the box, I’m all in. Skipping out on the typical wedding traditions? I say “Yes! It’s YOUR day. Do you.”
