Mandeville Lakefront Family photography

Mandeville lakefront family photography.

At first I thought that The lakefront in Mandeville might be too crowded for a photo session, as I typically like to photograph people somewhere secluded and private. Like in their own homes or in some secret wooded area or a remote field on family property…anywhere my people can relax and be themselves completely. But to my surprise, the lakefront turned out to be a fantastic location for documentary family photography. And it was simply perfect for this family in particular, because they LOVE to spend time together at the lakefront. And at Blent juice bar, where we decided to meet and begin their session.

This is one of the reasons I spend so much time getting to know my families before their session. I don’t want your session to look just like everyone else’s! I want to know YOU. What makes your family unique, and how can I best tell YOUR story. I don’t want you to look back on your photographs and see some postured version of yourselves, posed to perfection. My goal is for you to REMEMBER. My hope is for you to FEEL.

The Cox family is all about that healthy lifestyle. Which is why Blent and the lakefront were no brainer’s when we were deciding on their location. They frequent Blent and the lakefront often, and their girls…well lets just say they are BIG fans of fresh juice and smoothies!

I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their session. Here’s to a healthy and happy 2020!
